An ideal choice for couples and families seeking a holiday retreat with all of the amenities of this coastal town right on the doorstep. Easily accessible and a stone's throw from the world-famous Jurassic Coast of Lyme Bay. This recently upgraded and comfortable holiday home is on the ground floor level with a kingsize bedroom and also a twin basement bedroom perfect for children and friends. Within a few minutes walk of the sandy beach and promenade and the main shopping area, with its cafes, pubs and restaurants,

The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break and the famous Cob to explore. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. If you are planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town. Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award-winning museum, and small theatre can be found.

Accommodation:

Front door to the internal porch. The Lounge diner has two comfortable sofas and a Flatscreen Smart TV/DVD with Netflix (to be used with guests' subscription), dining table and chairs. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with twin electric ovens, gas hob, washing machine with dryer, microwave, dishwasher and tall fridge/freezer. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a Kingsize bed. Shower Room with walk in shower, wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and WC. Stairs leading down to basement Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft beds.

Outside:

There is an alternative exit via the kitchen door to the outside area. There is no outdoor seating with the apartment.

Parking:

Nearest public parking 5 minute’s walk uphill. The closest long stay car park in Lyme Regis is Charmouth Road (DT7 3DW).

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Lyme Regis is a great place to eat out and has a wide variety covering the globe as well as price. From traditional fish and chips to Asian fusion, Indian, Italian, Spanish and British.
