Badbury Lodge is ideally located in Weymouth to take advantages of all the town offers and all of that is within walking distance. A gentle stroll along the promenade to the sandy beach for a day out swimming in the blue flag awarded beach is just 5minutes away. From there you can explore the many shops, restaurants, cafes, tea rooms and pubs in the town centre or walk across the town bridge to Hope Square. Within easy drives are many great and different locations to explore including Portland, Abbotsbury with its Swannery and sub-tropical gardens, Lulworth with its beautiful cove or even the county town of Dorchester with its many museums.
The accommodation at Badbury Lodge comprises of an entrance hall leading to a kitchen equipped with a gas hob, cooker, microwave, breakfast bar, washing machine and a range of accessories and utensils. The dining room has a large pine table and seating for six. Two steps up take you to the lounge where there are two sofas, large flat-screen TV with DVD player, gas fire and Wi-Fi which is enabled throughout the property. The ground floor is finished off with a bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and toilet. Up to the first floor where bedroom one is a king-size double and bedroom two is a twin. There is a shower room with basin and toilet.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.

Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
