Description

The idyllic village of Winfrith Newburgh has a good selection of local amenities and is located in a perfect position for those wishing to tour some of the area’s most photographed landmarks, including Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, which are within 5 miles. Heading 10 miles east inland you can explore the county town of Dorchester with its choice of museums, shops, and eateries, or visit the historic walled town of Wareham, which is 8 miles west. Within a 20 mile radius are many popular attractions including Weymouth, Portland, Chesil beach, Abbotsbury, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge, Monkey World, The Tank Museum, Arne Nature Reserve, Dancing Ledge, Studland, and the traditional seaside town of Swanage.

This end of terrace property has a private entrance door that opens into a hallway with a useful separate WC. Heading to the left you will find the open-plan lounge/diner, which is an inviting light and airy space with an open fire, smart TV, and space to dine just opposite. To the rear of the property is the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. There is a utility area within the garage, which has a tumble dryer and space to store bikes and water sports equipment. Heading upstairs you will find a useful study with a raised, mid-height single bed, which is available for an extra guest on request. Next door is an inviting king-size bedroom and a charming double across the hall. The bedrooms share the stylish bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC. Due to the setting within the eaves, there are some areas of restricted head height throughout the first floor, which only adds to its character and charm.

Double doors lead from the lounge onto an open terrace with seating and views over the close. To the rear is an enclosed courtyard garden with garden furniture, which is accessed via the kitchen. There is an off-road parking space to the rear of the property and an allocated parking space to the front.
