Blossom Cottage is a thatched terraced cottage situated in the village of Osmington near to the town of Weymouth, Dorset. The cottage sleeps 7 people in 1 Double en-suite, 2 x Twin and 1 x single bedrooms, as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen, a dining room in the conservatory and sitting room with electric woodburning effect stove. Outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car and a lawned garden to the rear with garden furniture. Blossom Cottage is perfect for a family holiday on the Dorset Coast.
Blossom Cottage is a thatched cottage in the picturesque village of Osmington situated next to Craig's Farm Dairy, tea room and farm shop, perfectly placed for buying fresh milk, cheeses and wonderful ice cream. With exposed beams, spacious interior, wood burner in the lounge and a conservatory it caters for you perfectly whatever season you decide to visit. The pub is a leisurely 10-minute walk which dates back to the 13th century and is very popular with large outdoor seating area in which to take in the views of coast and countryside. Weymouth has a sandy beach and lots of places to eat out but there are many villages close to hand that are very pretty and have good pubs. On my list to visit would be Sutton Poyntz, Langton Herring, Abbotsbury, West Bay, West Lulworth and Kimmeridge with many more to discover inland.
The accommodation at Blossom Cottage comprises of a sitting room with electric log burner, Freeview TV, DVD player and WiFi-enabled throughout. The kitchen comes equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, tabletop freezer, dishwasher, breakfast bar and washing machine as well as a range of accessories and utensils. The conservatory is large and also has the dining table and doors lead out to a patio area and the garden beyond. A cloakroom rounds off the ground floor. There are four bedrooms upstairs arranged as a king-size double with en suite shower room, a twin room, a single with pull-out stacker bed and a final single bedroom. The bathroom has a bath with handheld shower attachment, basin and toilet. A cot and highchair can be provided upon request.
Outside is a rear garden including a lawned area and patio complete with furniture. There is allocated parking for one car. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Osmington is a small village with narrow streets lined with picturesque thatched cottages. The village is very popular with walkers wanting to see the White Horse ingrained in the hillside. Built in 1808 to honour King George III, who was a frequent visitor to the area. The figure on the hillside depicts the King riding a horse who sadly did not survive long enough to see this famous landmark.
Osmington Mills is a 10-minute walk along the coast path. Soak in the stunning views along the way. Visit the very pretty and very popular pub The Smugglers. The pub tells tales of the French smuggler, Pierre Latour, in the 17th century. Sit back, take in the stunning views and the excellent home-cooked food. It is well worth a visit.
