Situated in a delightful riverside location less than a 10-minute walk alongside the river to the town and beach. A deceptively spacious riverside cottage within easy reach of the beach and shops – a lovely base for a relaxing holiday. Located in the heart of this unspoilt Dorset seaside town, a perfect choice for those seeking a seaside cottage with all the amenities on the doorstep.

Within a ten minute walk, guests can meander down to Lyme Regis bustling seafront and promenade. Often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lyme Regis is well known for its literary association with Jane Austen as well as its diverse geology which people from across the world flock to in the hunt for fossils. The historic old town retains an olde worlde charm with small streets filled with galleries, boutique shops and famed gastro restaurants and cafés. Its sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for children and water sports enthusiasts alike with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. For those who would like a change of scene and a day away from the beach, the surrounding rolling countryside, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts walking and cycling in abundance or perhaps while away a few days exploring pretty East Devon fishing villages such as Beer and Branscombe or head to the market town of Axminster to sample Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen.


Fully fitted kitchen equipped with electric double oven and hob, microwave and fridge with icebox. Leading off the kitchen is the cloakroom with WC, washbasin and a washer/dryer. The kitchen leads through to the dining room with table and chairs to seat six. The lounge is furnished with sofa and armchairs, flatscreen TV and DVD player. Stairs from the lounge to the first floor. Bedroom 1 with 4ft 6inch double bed and en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 with a 4ft 6inch double. Bedroom 3 with a 3ft single bed. Family bathroom with mixer taps, WC and washbasin.


To the rear of the property is a small garden, ideal for sitting out. However, due to the uneven ground, the garden is not suitable for children to play in – they will need to be supervised.


To the front of the property is a parking space for a medium size car.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.
