Forget Me Not Cottage is a beautiful, brick barn conversion, situated on a working equestrian centre on the outskirts of Pimperne, in Dorset. Inside the property are three bedrooms, which include a master king-size double room with an en-suite shower, and two twin rooms with flexible zip/link beds, together sleeping up to six people. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and shower over. The living space is bright and open-plan, with exposed brick walls and wooden beams in apex ceilings. It hosts a well-equipped kitchen, dining table and a sitting area. Outside is a lawned garden with a private patio area where you can dine alfresco. Parking is also available on-site for four cars. Surrounding the property is the luscious countryside of Cranborne Chase AONB, making Forget Me Not Cottage perfect for keen walkers, or friends, families and couples seeking a country break!

After soaking up your surroundings, push open the stable-style front door and be welcomed into a large open-plan living area, which boasts a characterful wooden floor, apex ceilings, exposed wooden beams and brick walls. It is a fantastic, social space where the whole group can cook, eat and relax together in one bright, spacious room. The master bedroom is beside the sitting area, with a plush king-size bed and en-suite shower room, while at the other end of the property are two twin bedrooms, both of which can be super-king-size beds on request. Concluding the interior is a family bathroom where you can enjoy a relaxing bubble bath after a long walk.

Blandford Forum is the most complete, small Georgian town in England, set on the banks of the River Stour. Fires destroyed the town in the eighteenth century and the town gradually rebuilt. The town has a charming parish church and a wonderful marketplace. Surrounding the marketplace are an assortment of local independent shops and well-known "brand" shops as well as cafes, pubs, and supermarkets. The town also has indoor and outdoor markets each week. Blandford Forum is home to one of Dorset’s breweries – Hall & Woodhouse. Drop in for a tour of the brewery, sample, or buy the famous "Badger Beer".
There are a few trails to try around the town, cycle along the old trailway between Blandford and Sturminster Newton taking in fabulous Dorset scenery all the way. At Shillingstone is a cafe, offering needed refreshment for your trip back. Have a bite to eat in the cafe, alfresco, or in the restored buffet coach.
By far the biggest event in the area is the annual Great Dorset Steam Fair held at the end of August. The event has grown every year and now sits on a 600-acre site. It is the leading show of its kind in the world, attracting a lot of international attention.
