Found in a quiet residential street, only 5 minutes walk from the town centre with its cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is also just a short walk away from the seafront with its sandy beaches, Langmoor Gardens and the historic Cobb, so visitors can park their cars and forget about them for their entire holiday! Fuschia Cottage is a spacious property with ample parking and an enclosed back garden for the exclusive use of visitors.

Within a ten minute walk, guests can meander down to Lyme Regis bustling seafront and promenade. Often referred to as the ‘Pearl of Dorset’, Lyme Regis is well known for its literary association with Jane Austen as well as its diverse geology which people from across the world flock to in the hunt for fossils. The historic old town retains an old-world charm with small streets filled with galleries, boutique shops and famed gastro restaurants and cafés. Its sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for children and water sports enthusiasts alike with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. For those who would like a change of scene and a day away from the beach, the surrounding rolling countryside, which is an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts walking and cycling in abundance or perhaps while away a few days exploring pretty East Devon fishing villages such as Beer and Branscombe or head to the market town of Axminster to sample Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage Canteen.

Spacious Open plan ground floor living area with dining table and chairs. Lounge with feature fireplace, sofas, Flatscreen TV and DVD. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with icebox and washing machine. Stairs to first floor. Bedroom 1 with 4ft 6inch double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin 3ft single beds. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms with WC and wash basin.

Outside:

A French door from the lounge leads to an private back garden equipped with garden furniture.

To the front of the property there is off-road parking for 2 vehicles.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.
