Grazeland Cottage is a converted stone-built farmhouse that can sleep four people in two bedrooms. All on one level there are 2 bedrooms, 1 x double and 1 x twin, plus a shower room. The kitchen has a breakfast table and there is a large sitting room with a dining area leading to a conservatory with doors opening up onto the lawned garden with a patio area and barbecue. Grazeland Cottage lies just north of Bridport in beautiful West Dorset countryside next to the owner's home but lies just a few miles from the World Heritage Jurassic Coast giving you the best of both worlds. Aside from one step up into a bedroom, all the accommodation lies on the ground floor so would be appropriate for those visiting with impaired mobility. From the rear patio, you can enjoy views over the 6-acre paddock and from the conservatory you can enjoy views over the large front garden to the rolling hills beyond. This part of West Dorset is beautiful and there are many walks that you can enjoy from this location which can also be enjoyed with up to two well-behaved pates as Grazeland Cottage is pet friendly. The closest pub is just 2 miles away and is the locally acclaimed Shave Cross Pub serving seasonal food and catering for dietary requirements and serving local speciality beers. Bridport itself is just a short drive away and has a mix of high street and local shops and a weekly market. The coastline along here is well worth your time exploring and you have West Bay, Charmouth and Lyme Regis close by.

The accommodation at Grazeland Cottage comprises a large sitting room with a dining area TV, DVD player, CD player and WiFi-enabled throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The conservatory has additional relaxation options and doors and views out to the garden. There are two bedrooms arranged as a double with a separate basin and toilet and a twin bedroom. There is a shower room with a large shower with an integrated seat, basin and toilet. A cot can be provided upon request.

Bridport

Bridport is a small, busy market town on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. The town has quite a few independent shops, a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. There are also local markets here each week. Bridport has an arts centre, cinema, and museum. The museum includes an exhibition of the town's long history of rope-making amongst other exhibits. The town hosts the local food festival for a week at the end of June and ends with the Round Table Beer Festival. The town holds its annual carnival on the third Saturday in August. Visit Palmers Thatched Brewery to sample local beers and ale. Explore Mangerton Mill which is still a working water mill, visit the tea rooms attached and finish off with a country walk by the river.
