Entering into the property from the hallway into open plan living/kitchen/diner where you will find two comfy sofas to kick back and relax on. They surround a circular coffee table making this a great spot to socialise and plan your days together. The kitchen is well equipped for all you need to rustle up tasty meals to be enjoyed at the dining table. The balcony from the living area and from the double bedroom offers wonderful views over the harbour and from here, during the summer months, you can watch the town bridge open every 2 hours to allow boats to pass into the inner harbour. Start your morning here with a cup of tea or coffee or watch the sunset at the end of your day with a glass of wine.

There are two well-presented bedrooms; one double and one twin. The beachfront is lined with tourist shops and snack huts where treating yourself to an ice cream is a must. Venture across the town bridge and stroll through the old historic harbour where you can enjoy fish and chips or even a Dorset cream tea.

The vibrant town of Dorchester is a short drive away and is full of character and historic sites to explore. There are 2 museums, garden walks, a selection of shops and many eateries to choose from. Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.

Weymouth Attractions and Activities

Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
