Highland Chapel is a delightful terraced house based in the heart of Weymouth and has been fully renovated to include a modern look whilst keeping plenty of the character that comes with the original arched chapel windows and stonework.

This unique property is situated on the edge of a beautiful Victorian cemetery, and you will even find an old fountain within the outside wall. Coming through the front door brings you to the spacious hallway, into the open-plan living area that features three superb stone arched windows, and through to the fully equipped kitchen and dining area, perfect for spending time together while making the evening meal. The seating area comprises of a set of plush velvet sofas which will be perfect for those tired evenings relaxing in front of the TV, after a long day at the beach.

Moving up onto the first floor you will find two large double bedrooms; the master bedroom offers a Juliet balcony with double doors, giving views of the cemetery, while the second bedroom has a delightful bay window. This property benefits from having a family bathroom on the first floor including a shower over bath and a skylight, as well as a cloakroom/utility room on the ground floor which is host to a WC, sink, and washing machine. The double doors that lead out of the sitting area, take you onto a sunny terrace, which is perfect for relaxing with a drink in the evening sun.

Located just one mile from Weymouth's famous Georgian seafront and award-winning beach, you will be able to enjoy fish and chips on the seafront with ease, or maybe take a wander around the old harbour with ice cream. The town centre has all of your high-street favourites as well as plenty of local independent shops, so you can discover the talents and crafts of the local people. Venture out to Lulworth Cove and see the incredible Jurassic Coastline from the water, by going on a Jurassic Kayak Tour, experiencing the coast from a unique perspective and gaining knowledge of the amazing marine life.

For something totally different, travel 15 miles north, and visit Monkey World - which sees apes rehabilitated into natural living groups again after suffering abuse or neglect through smuggling of primates - and go on the journey around the centre and learn about the stories behind the primates' rescues, and maybe you'll catch some cheeky monkey business too! Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.

Weymouth Attractions and Activities

Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.

The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
