A beautiful period cottage just off Brewers Quay Lobster Cottage is located in one of the most picturesque and popular areas in Weymouth hosting several festivals throughout the year. A few steps from the property is the old harbour where you can spend a lazy afternoon admiring the flotilla of fishing boats and yachts come and go or letting the children try their hand at crabbing.
Situated just a stone's throw from Weymouth,s Old Harbour, Lobster Cottage is situated in the popular Brewers Quay area. Brewers Quay has an assortment of restaurants, pubs and coffee shops perfect for eating the freshly caught seafood or trying a locally brewed beer. Lobster Cottage benefits from off-street parking for one car which is a real rarity in the area. Because of the location of the cottage, you may have no need to use the car again until you make your homeward journey.
The accommodation at Lobster Cottage comprises of a lounge with flat-screen TV and CD music system. The kitchen/diner is equipped with a washing machine and the all-important dishwasher. There is an outside cloakroom with hand basin and toilet accessed through the small rear courtyard.
Up steep stairs to the first floor where bedroom one is a double and bedroom two is a twin. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet. A further set of steep stairs leads you to bedroom three which is a double and a shower room with hand basin and toilet.
Outside there is off road parking for one car and a small courtyard.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.
Weymouth Attractions and Activities
Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.
The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
