Property Details

The Old Malthouse is located near the heart of Weymouth's town centre, situated in a quiet lane, moments away from the Old Harbour and close to the award-winning blue flag beach.

Taking its name from the original use of the building, as part of a malt warehouse, it still retains many of the original characteristics of the building such as solid stone walls which give the building a feeling of sturdiness. Accommodating up to four guests in two bedrooms the property is accessed via a side turning close to the town centre. It is perfect for a small family or couples. The apartment’s first floor, accessed from the stairs in the hallway, has a spacious social area with two comfortable sofas that benefit from three large windows, the rest of the apartment has a contemporary nautical feel due to the subtle decoration in shades of blue and cream. Through the arc of the sitting area, you will find a fully-equipped kitchen with a dining table for four people.

A few minutes’ stroll from the Old Malthouse Apartment is the award-winning beach spanning around 3 miles with fine sand at one end and pebbles at another. Enjoy a day on the beach in the sun or stroll along the promenade starting with a visit to the Jurassic Skyline offering stunning 360° panoramic views of Weymouth Bay, the Isle of Portland and Jurassic Coast. Along the seafront, you will find numerous amusements for children and adults alike. Make sure to try out some delicious Dorset’s ice-cream in one of the cafes along the way.
