Pippin’s Loder’s is a pretty stone cottage situated in the picturesque village of Loders, near Bridport in Dorset. Providing a very comfortable, tranquil base from which to discover this area of outstanding natural beauty. Dating back over 200 years the cottage has been tastefully renovated, offering all contemporary comforts while retaining numerous period features including exposed beams, a large inglenook fireplace with open fire, and a bread oven which gives the cottage a traditional cosy feel.

Pippins Loders is located in the picturesque village of Loders and dates back 200 years. The cottage has been carefully updated to retain period features, such as the exposed beams and Inglenook fireplace while introducing all the comforts of modern living. Loders has two pubs within walking distance, The Crown at Uploders and the Loders Arms in Loders. The area is perfect for walkers and cyclists with fantastic scenery and views and the countryside here has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Close by is the bustling town of Bridport which has a variety of markets and the whole of the Jurassic Coast lies before you waiting to be explored. West Bay is a very short drive away while Lyme Regis and Charmouth are only a little bit further to the west.

The accommodation at Pippins Loders comprises a hallway leading to a large kitchen/diner well equipped with an electric hob and double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and a range of accessories and utensils. The lounge has an open fire, flat-screen plasma TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD player and Wi-Fi. There is a cloakroom with a basin and toilet. Up to the first floor and the three bedrooms and bedroom one is a kingsize double with an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and toilet. Bedroom two has been arranged as a double and bedroom three a twin. There is a family bathroom with a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A cot and high chair can be provided upon request.

Outside is an enclosed south facing garden with a patio area complete with a table and chairs and a barbecue. Pippins Loders welcomes well-behaved pets. There is off-road parking for one car with additional on-road parking available. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Area Details

Bridport

Bridport is a small, busy market town on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. The town has quite a few independent shops, a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. There are also local markets here each week. Bridport has an arts centre, cinema, and museum. The museum includes an exhibition of the town's long history of rope-making amongst other exhibits. The town hosts the local food festival for a week at the end of June and ends with the Round Table Beer Festival. The town holds its annual carnival on the third Saturday in August. Visit Palmers Thatched Brewery to sample local beers and ale. Explore Mangerton Mill which is still a working water mill, visit the tea rooms attached and finish off with a country walk by the river.
