In Southbourne, you will find independent shops and boutiques along with a Post Office, High Street Banks, restaurants and cafes.
Stepping inside this pretty home you will find a sitting room, a separate dining room and a modern, well-equipped kitchen. Doors open onto the rear garden, with a patio for outdoor dining, a lawned area, garden furniture and a summer house in which to relax.

Point Finger Cottage is ideally situated to make use of local transport. Bournemouth and Poole have a great bus service with stops just minutes from your door. Additionally, Pokesdown mainline train station is a short, level walk away. Local services take you to many wonderful places of interest, including Poole, Christchurch and The New Forest. A little further afield you can explore places such as Weymouth, Swanage, Salisbury and Winchester. On-street car parking is free and unlimited (subject to availability). There is also reasonably priced, all-day public car parking just a five minute walk away.

Bournemouth is the largest seaside town between Christchurch and Poole. The town is brimming with a variety of shops as well as a range of restaurants catering to all tastes. The town comes alive at night and transforms into a hive of colour and energy. Dine in the many bars and restaurants on the seafront. Dance the night away in the nightclubs, there is something for everyone here.
The seven-mile stretch of golden sand is divided into several sections to make up Bournemouth Beach. All the sections of the beach are very family-friendly and make this one of the safest beaches in England. The RNLI patrol the beach during the summer and the Blue Flags showing the safe zones to swim are on show. On the beachfront, you can pick up safety wristbands for the children and hire sunbeds. Check out the beach for a wide variety of watersports.
If you are feeling energetic why not try a cliff walk. This can be found at Fishermans Walk, one of the sections of Bournemouth beach. Take the path up and follow the zigzag paths back down to the beach or take the lift and enjoy the views as you come down. Bournemouth Pier has lots to offer including RockReef indoor activity centre. Hours of entertainment for the adventurous types. The Pier, like the beach, comes alive at night with colourful lights.
The Bournemouth Air Festival is a free four-day event that happens at the end of August. A huge variety of planes are here, including the Red Arrows. You can also enjoy, beach and evening entertainment. For those who like a comedy or musical the visit The Bournemouth International Centre. To entertain children and allow the parents to relax, Alice in Wonderland Adventure Park is a great family day out for children up to the age of 12 and there is so much to explore. From rides to soft play, to adventure playgrounds, to a picnic in the grounds and meeting Alice and the cast. Watch the theatre matinee and finish off with watching the planes landing and taking off from the viewing platform. Bournemouth has so much to offer and is a great base for exploring the town and surrounding areas.
