Safe Harbour is a restored three-storey house situated in the town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from harbour views. The house can sleep 6 people in 2 king-size double bedrooms one with en-suite shower, 1 twin single bedroom as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the house is made up of a fitted kitchen/dining/sitting room with fire and 2nd sitting room with fire. Two parking permits included for the nearby council car park and a courtyard with furniture. Safe Harbour is in a perfect harbour location close to the beach, ideal for families.
Safe Harbour is situated in the heart of Weymouth located overlooking the pretty harbour with fantastic views. This beautifully restored three-storey townhouse is arguably the best location in Weymouth with panoramic harbour views and close to Brewers Quay and Hope square with their cafes, restaurants and pubs. Newtons Cove is great for a walk with the dog and rockpooling which leads nicely into Nothe Gardens and the old fort. You are just a 5-minute walk to Weymouth's award-winning sandy beach and the traditional entertainments available on it from donkey rides to Punch and Judy.
The accommodation at Safe Harbour comprises of an entrance lobby leading to the large kitchen/diner with an informal seating area, bay window and seat and harbourside views and equipped with a fridge/freezer, oven with hob, microwave and range of accessories and utensils with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher housed in the laundry room in the annexe which also houses a shower room with basin and toilet. The first floor has the lounge with more of those panoramic harbour views, smart flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD music system and WiFi. Bedroom one can be arranged as either a super king-size double or a twin depending on your needs and has an en-suite shower room with shower, basin and toilet. The second floor has bedroom two which can also be arranged as either a super king-size double or a twin and bedroom three is a twin room. The bathroom has a bath, separate shower, basin and toilet. A travel cot and highchair can be provided.
Outside is a small courtyard garden. One well-behaved dog is welcome but is not allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture. Two car parking permits will be provided. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.
Weymouth Attractions and Activities
Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.
The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
