Sandpipers is a contemporary semi-detached townhouse situated on the 'College Heights' development overlooking Radipole Lake, Weymouth, where parts of the bird reserve can be glimpsed from the top floor windows.

This modern home has a Four poster bed in the master bedroom on the 2nd Floor and also benefits from the added luxury of an en-suite. On the first floor offers two twin bedrooms and a family bathroom, whilst the ground floor offers a modern sitting room and a kitchen diner which with French doors to the enclosed garden patio. Park on the driveway and forget the car, with so many things to do all within walking distance you won’t need the car.

Sandpipers is a short walk of around 10 minutes from the town centre and Weymouth’s beautiful beach with its golden sands and shallow waters, the perfect place to have a beach day. From the pavilion take the land train to the Sealife Centre, or walk along the esplanade with local ice cream and see the beach huts at Greenhill don’t forget to enjoy local fish and chips on the harbourside.

If you are keen to explore further afield – don’t miss; the Isle of Portland with spectacular views, Portland Bill Lighthouse. Chesil beach and Tout Quarry. The Iconic UNESCO Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are a lovely drive of around 30 minutes away and a must-see. Sandpiper would be perfect for a large family seaside holiday in Weymouth, Dorset.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.

Weymouth Attractions and Activities

Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.

The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
