Sea Breeze is a seaside cottage situated in the village of Preston near to the town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from views stretching across Weymouth Bay to Portland. The cottage can sleep 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin single bedrooms as well as a shower room and bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen/dining/sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car and on-road parking for 1 car and a patio with garden furniture. Sea Breeze is situated in a superb seaside location perfect for families or couples.

Property Details

Sea Breeze is part of a small complex of holiday homes just off Preston Beach at the end of Weymouth's sandy beach. A large patio with wonderful sea views over Weymouth Bay will be a place you spend quite a bit of time, perfect for some al fresco dining after a hard day on the beach. All you need is on your doorstep including a pub and cafe, both with outdoor seating and sea views, and a convenience store are all within a short walk from the front door. Water sports are available nearby as are walks along the coast to Osmington and beyond. Explore Weymouth, the many restaurants, pubs and cafes, shops, Sea Life Centre, two nature reserves and country park to name but a few. Further afield you can visit Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door or Abbotsbury with the tropical gardens and children's farm.

The accommodation at Sea Breeze comprises of an open plan living area with TV, DVD player, WiFi and dining area with the kitchen equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There are two bedrooms arranged as a double and a twin and two bathrooms, a shower room and a bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A cot can be provided upon request.

Outside is a patio area complete with furniture. There is off-road allocated parking for one car and roadside parking on a first come first served basis near the Oasis Cafe. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Preston

Preston is a small coastal village on the edge of Weymouth and close to Sutton Poyntz and Osmington. The village has 2 mini supermarkets, a fish and chip shop and its very own nature reserve. Preston has one Pub, The Spice Ship. The area is best known for Bowleaze Cove. This is a sand and shingle beach that is popular with families in the summer. In addition, the beach also has a slipway for launching small craft. There are many rock pools to explore at low tide and the area is popular for fishing. The cove also provides excellent views over Weymouth and is also home to the Riviera Hotel. Bowleaze Cove, painted by John Constable on his honeymoon, now hangs in the National Gallery. Overcombe Corner is a popular spot for windsurfers. This particular area gets some nice swells when the wind is in the right direction. For the children, Bowleaze has Weymouths biggest fun park Fantasy Island. The park has fun rides, amusements and soft play. In conclusion, this can often be a fantastic half or full day to amuse children or similarly, burn off their excess energy.
