The charming village of Charmouth is well serviced with local amenities and boasts a fantastic stretch of beach ideal for fossil hunting. A short walk downhill will take you to the coast or head three miles west to the popular town of Lyme Regis where there is plenty to keep you entertained, including boat trips from the famous ‘Cobb’, plus boutique shops and galleries to browse. The surrounding countryside is full of verdant walking routes and magnificent viewpoints including Golden Cap, which overlooks the bustling market town of Bridport. Ideally placed for exploring the many delights that the Jurassic Coast has to offer, this is the ideal spot for a relaxing break.

From the street step through the wrought iron gate to the main entrance into this end of terrace cottage. Once inside you come immediately into the striking open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which boasts beautiful stone floors and warm oak doors. The lounge area sits to the front of the property and has a Smart TV and wood burner for those cosy evenings in. Next is a centrally placed dining table ideal for leisurely meals. Set to the rear of the property is the contemporary kitchen, which includes a TV, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine and washing machine. Completing the ground floor is a compact shower room with a shower and WC. A winding staircase leads from the dining area to the first floor. Here there are two bedrooms to choose from, both charming doubles. Between the two bedrooms is a stylish bathroom with shower over bath and WC. A further winding staircase leads into the eaves of the property where you will find a further double bedroom. This bedroom has some areas of restricted head height, which only adds to its character and charm. A large Velux window offers amazing distant views over the countryside surroundings. All of the bedrooms are equipped with a TV.

A set of double doors open from the kitchen onto a raised deck with glimpses of the countryside beyond. A flight of external stairs lead to a pathway that runs away from the house to an enclosed courtyard separate from the cottage. Set over multiple levels with furniture and a summer house, this inviting space is the ideal spot to sit back and relax. There is roadside parking to the front of the property, subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
