Seahorse Cottage is a newly renovated seaside property, located a stone's throw from the beach and promenade. Completely refurbished in 2020 with a new kitchen and bathroom, it is an ideal choice for couples and families seeking a holiday retreat with all of the amenities of this pretty coastal town right on the doorstep. This wonderful holiday home offers a cosy, modern feel and enjoys the warmth of a Woodburner out of season and the joys of sunshine in the patio garden. From the cottage, you can enjoy easy access to the World famous Jurassic Coastline and a be just a few minutes walk of the restaurants and the main shopping area, with its cafes, pubs and restaurants,

The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break and the famous Cob to explore. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award-winning museum, and small theatre can be found.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Lyme Regis is a great place to eat out and has a wide variety covering the globe as well as price. From traditional fish and chips to Asian fusion, Indian, Italian, Spanish and British.
