Within 0.5 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.3 miles, you will find a pub and a beach. Please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. Perfect for a family of five, the apartment not only rests a stone's throw away from the beach but enjoys access to a range of sights within the Isle of Purbeck. Head inside and climb the stairs to your fabulous home-from-home, where the kitchen/diner immediately greets you upon entry; the pleasant space offers seating for all the family, along with sleek, grey units featuring a fabulous array of appliances to make homecooked meals with. Move through the apartment to find the pretty, blue sitting room where a leather-clad seat awaits in front of the TV and toasty electric fire. As the day comes to an end, choose between three coastal-themed bedrooms, with one of these being a delightful double, and the latter two being a well-decorated twin and single. The apartment benefits from two bathroom areas, including a shower room and a cloakroom; ideal for avoiding those morning queues! Be sure to step outside onto the rear lawn and enjoy an alfresco meal amidst the sea breeze.

Explore Swanage, a seaside resort that features all your amenities, as well as a marvellous golf club, walks along the South West Coastal Path to the historic Wellington Clock Tower and the scenic Peveril Point, along with two beautiful beaches. Swanage

Swanage is a large, pretty, coastal town on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. The town has an array of shops, cafes and restaurants and is a great base for exploring what Swanage and the surrounding areas have to offer. Enjoy the charm and the atmosphere of the town, join in with regatta in the summer months. For those walking enthusiasts, enjoy amazing views along this stretch of the South West Coast Path. The chalky cliffs of Old Harry's Rock are spectacular and are well worth your time to visit. The rocks mark the most eastern point of the Jurassic Coast. Visit Durleston Country Park and Nature Reserve and explore the 320 acres of stunning countryside. Discover the vast species of wildlife and marvel at the spectacular views. There are plenty of water sports to try out here and great waters to try them out in.

Beaches

Swanage beach is 4 miles of golden, sandy beach. Sheltered waters, and lifeguards patrolling the beach in the summer months, makes it very popular with families. This beach holds the prestigious Blue flag award for beach cleanliness. Why not hire out a traditional beach hut for the duration of your stay, this will save you carrying your beach luggage everywhere. Pedalos can be hired on the beach as can deckchairs, although dogs are not allowed on this beach from May to September. Pier Beach is a tiny sand and shingle beach near the traditional pier, perfect for sitting and watching the world go by. The clear waters make it great for snorkelling or angling. Dogs are allowed on this beach all year.

Swanage Railway

Swanage Railway is a fantastic and exciting way to see the Isle of Purbeck in style. This heritage railway has a steam and diesel train running the five and a half miles from Norden. It takes in Corfe Castle and Swanage with picnic tables at most stations for you to make the most of the day. Take a day trip to Corfe Castle, explore the castle and then make the return journey back. At Christmas, join the Swanage railway for a magical Christmas adventure for not only the children to enjoy but the adults too.
