Seashells is a modern terraced cottage situated in the town of Weymouth in Dorset and is a short walk away from the sandy beach. The cottage can sleep 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin single bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen, a dining/sitting room. Zone parking permit for one car and a patio. Seashells is a contemporary cottage within a short distance to the town centre and harbour, suitable for couples and families.
Seashells is one of the few remaining cottages from the brewery buildings situated around it. The cottage has been renovated and furnished to a high standard with modern fixtures and fittings. It is conveniently situated, a mere two minute walk to Weymouth's main sandy beach and colourful harbour.
The ground floor accommodation comprises of a lounge/diner with a double sofa bed that sleeps one, circular dining table and chairs, flat-screen television, DVD player and stereo and patio doors leading to outside. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.
The first floor leads you to bedroom one a double and bedroom two, a twin. The bathroom has a corner bath, shower over, hand basin and toilet.
Outside is a small decked courtyard area. Zone parking permit included for one car in nearby on-road parking areas, subject to availability. Linen hire inclusive.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.
Weymouth Attractions and Activities
Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.
The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
