Silver Street Cottage, an attractive little cottage in the heart of the unspoilt Dorset seaside town of Lyme Regis, is ideally located for couples seeking a romantic seaside hideaway, located just a minute's walk from the main shops, seafront and amenities. Newly built in a traditional style this cottage offers everything you could wish for in a smaller holiday property.

Lyme Regis includes a sandy beach, seafront promenade, and celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. The town is a wonderful location for couples looking for a traditional seaside break. There is a wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award-winning museum, and a small theatre. For the more adventurous, the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliffe between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. For those planning a holiday without a car, the mainline railway station in nearby Axminster is served by a regular bus service (or taxis), to and from the town. Please note that this property is not suitable for children and that there is no space for a cot.

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Lyme Regis is a great place to eat out and has a wide variety covering the globe as well as price. From traditional fish and chips to Asian fusion, Indian, Italian, Spanish and British.
