Six Horse Barn is a superb, semi-detached holiday let positioned near the lovely village of Winfrith Newburgh, in Dorset. It comprises two bedrooms; a double and a twin, sleeping four guests altogether. There is also a family bathroom, a living/kitchen room with a small dining area, followed by a separate dining room. To the outside is an enclosed, lawned garden with outdoor furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars at the front. Six Horse Barn ensures you can enjoy a restful break, with plenty of wonderful attractions to explore nearby.

Surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside, near the quaint village of Winfrith Newburgh, Six Horse Barn is a charming, mid-terrace property set within the owner's private grounds. Wrapped in two acres of flourishing gardens, with established lawns, pretty borders and a wildlife-rich pond, you can enjoy a relaxing break with your family or friends.

This spacious cottage allows you to relax and unwind within the cosy sitting area, where you can tune into the TV or simply catch up on the day you've just had over refreshing drinks. The bright and airy kitchen offers all you need to rustle up delicious homemade meals, with a small dining area in addition to the dining room next door. Once you have made the most of the downstairs, climb up to the first floor to catch your rest in one of two bedrooms, accompanied by the family bathroom. The double boasts floor-to-ceiling windows offering views out across the gardens, so you can wake up to your first cup of tea in the morning and take in the scenery from the warmth of your duvet. There is also a twin bedroom for an alternative sleeping arrangement, and they each come with ample storage space to stow away your belongings, as well as bedside tables with lamps for some late-night reading.

Outside is the enclosed garden, with a lawned area for the kids to enjoy, while you sit on the outdoor furniture and take in the natural atmosphere with a well-earned drink in hand. You have an array of attractions to discover right from the doorstep, including the fabulous Dorset Heritage Coast, which is home to the eroded Durdle Door, one of the most iconic landmarks of the area. Make sure you bring your camera to snap the perfect holiday picture, before exploring the white pebble beach of Lulworth Cove. You are spoilt for choice with places to dine out and shop in the local area, with the thriving town of Dorchester playing host to a selection of museums and its Iron Age hillfort, Maiden Castle. Wool is a small and peaceful village near Bovington and Wareham. Dotted with quaint thatched cottages, this village is very photogenic. The River Frome runs through here and on the banks you can spot the 17th-century Woolbridge Manor where "Tess of the D'ubervilles spent her honeymoon night in the Thomas Hardy novel. There is a convenience store here and 2 pubs. Visit The Tank Museum a little drive away, in Bovington. Discover how the tanks advanced through the years, experience an action display and take a ride in a tank. For those who enjoy walking, pick up the Lawerence of Arabia trail. Explore the flat, 7 mile trail and stop for refreshments in the tea rooms along the way at Moreton. West Lulworth and Durdle Door are within driving distance.
