This lovely thatched cottage is set within an attractive walled courtyard and its charming character hides a generously sized living area that extends into a very spacious conservatory where you can relax and dine. From here the French doors lead to the patio area and stylish outdoor furniture where you can enjoy alternative dining at warmer times of the year. Recently renovated and finished to a high standard this fabulous property is a superb choice for family or friends. With the additional benefit of The Coach House across the courtyard, this offers combined holiday accommodation for 10 people in the Old Coach House and up to 5 guests in Stable Cottage.

The town is a wonderful location for those seeking a traditional seaside break and the famous Cob to explore. For the more adventurous the South West Coast Path heads west through the amazing Undercliff between Lyme Regis and Axmouth, or east towards Charmouth and the magnificent National Trust land at Golden Cap. If you are planning a holiday and wish to leave the car behind at the property its only a 20-minute walk to the beach, promenade and town along the picturesque river walk that leads to towards the Town Mill. Alternatively, the town bus runs a service that has a drop and pick up point a very short distance from the property. Lyme Regis includes celebrity chef Mark Hix's superb Oyster and Seafood Restaurant, along with many other restaurants, cafes, pubs and tearooms. A wide selection of independent shops, as well as an award-winning museum, and small theatre can be found.

Accommodation:

Front door to hallway. The lounge has a 2 seater sofa, two armchairs and flat screen TV. Kitchen fully equipped with oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher and microwave. Utility room (shared) with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying facilities. Steps down to the conservatory with a dining table and chairs to seat 5 guests and two seater sofa. French doors lead to the terrace and garden. Ground floor area leads to Bedroom 1 with a 4ft 6inch double bed and single 3ft daybed. Bedrom 2 with twin 3ft beds. Family bathroom with shower over bath, W.C. and wash basin.

Outside:

Patio area with dining table and seating. Shared lawn garden, 56ft x 50ft. Views across the local countryside.

Parking:

Off-road parking for 1 car in the shared courtyard along with additional roadside parking. There is also additional parking available down a private lane.

Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Lyme Regis is a great place to eat out and has a wide variety covering the globe as well as price. From traditional fish and chips to Asian fusion, Indian, Italian, Spanish and British.
