Sunny Gardens is a cosy holiday home on the edge of Weymouth, just over a mile from the beach. There is a ground floor double bedroom, a ground floor room with a sofabed, and a twin room tucked into the eaves. There is also a shower room on the ground floor, and a first-floor basin and WC. There is a fitted galley kitchen, a dining room leading to the conservatory, and a sitting room. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a spacious garden. With the attractions of Weymouth and beyond on the doorstep, Sunny Gardens makes a welcoming year-round family base.
Sunny Gardens is a detached, chalet bungalow in a quiet residential area of Weymouth. The cottage is well named with a large garden that makes the most of the sun throughout the day. You are just 1 mile from Weymouth's famous sandy beach and the bustling harbour with its many cafes, pubs and restaurants.
The accommodation at Sunny Gardens comprises of a sitting room with Freeview TV, DVD player, radio/CD player and a selection of books, games, CDs and DVDs. There is a dining room with table and chairs with doors leading to the conservatory that has further seating and views to the gardens. The galley kitchen comes well equipped with electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. There are three bedrooms, a ground floor double, a ground floor room with a sofa bed and an eaves twin. There is a ground floor shower room with shower, basin and toilet and a cloakroom on the first floor with toilet and basin.
Outside there are large, enclosed gardens with patio complete with table and chairs. Sunny Gardens accepts one well-behaved dog. Please note there is a covered pond in the garden. There is off-road parking for two cars. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.
Weymouth Attractions and Activities
Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.
The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
