The Ferns is a modern semi-detached property finished to an extremely high standard and located in a residential street in Weymouth. The property allows two well-behaved dogs where they can play in the large rear garden, so the whole family can come and enjoy a seaside holiday. The house is just a 10-minute walk from the Greenhill area and the main beach in Weymouth, where you will find a long golden sanded beach and shallow waters for perfect beach days.

The accommodation at The Ferns is spread over three floors and comprises of a sitting room with Smart TV, Blu Ray player and WiFi-enabled throughout. The kitchen has a dining area and is equipped with a gas hob with electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. A cloakroom rounds off the ground floor. Up to the first floor where you will find a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom with a bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and toilet. Up to the second floor where you will find a king-size double with en suite shower room. A cot, stairgate and highchair can be provided upon request.
Outside is a rear garden. There is off-road parking for two cars. The Ferns accepts up to two well-behaved dogs so the whole family can holiday together. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.
Weymouth Attractions and Activities
Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.
The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
