The Lobster Pot offers a wonderful opportunity to stay in one of the best locations along the Jurassic Coast with stunning sea views of Lyme Bay. This cosy lodge occupies a unique and elevated position above Monmouth Beach on one of the most attractive parts of the Dorset Coastline. With its own sheltered decked area and patio, you can enjoy al fresco eating and relaxation with far-reaching sea views. The outstanding beauty of this spot on the Jurassic Coast is now recognised as a World Heritage Site and you can see Golden Cap, Chesil Beach and the Isle of Portland in the far distance.

Its location is quite like no other with easy access to everything Lyme Regis has to offer and is ideal for 'All Year Round Breaks'. This is a Swedish designed log cabin, fully insulated to current building regulations and is also designed with cold weather in mind. It's warm and inviting, the wooden specification offers comfortable, heated accommodation with many homely touches. If walking is your thing, you will love what's on offer in and around Lyme Regis. It is a walkers' paradise with surrounding countryside and coastline walks to explore.

Please note there is a suspended bunk bed in the room which is not for guest use and is locked against the wall, to be used only by the owner of the chalet.
Patio doors have roller blinds for privacy.

Decked area under cover and patio with picnic bench and seating. Storage with four beach chairs.

Parking:

Parking for one car behind the beach chalet (please note this is not allocated parking and is on first come basis). A pay & display car park is also available very nearby.

Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis, nicknamed 'The Pearl of Dorset' lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and is near Charmouth and the Devon border. Lyme Regis is a historic seaside resort and fishing port and boasts breathtaking scenery, making it a resort for all seasons. The town is famous for its fossils, often found on its beaches and cliffs. In fact, it was in the cliffs that the famous Ichthyosaur was discovered by Mary Anning, the daughter of a local fossil collector. She went on to find a complete Plesiosaur and the well-preserved remains of a flying reptile. Book a fossil walks with local experts to ensure you are both safe and full of knowledge by the end. The famous harbour wall known as 'The Cobb' featured in the film and novel of The French Lieutenant's Woman.

Lyme Regis is a great place to eat out and has a wide variety covering the globe as well as price. From traditional fish and chips to Asian fusion, Indian, Italian, Spanish and British.
