The Wave is a uniquely designed lodge situated in the village of Eype near to the town of Bridport in Dorset and benefits from fully glazed bi-fold doors leading on to a large decked area, which makes the most of the sea and coastal views, from both inside the property and out. The lodge can sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms, one king-size double, one double and one twin single as well as a family bathroom with bath, shower, basin and WC. The rest of the lodge is made up of an open plan living kitchen dining room with bi-fold doors onto the decking terrace. To the outside of the lodge is off road parking for 2 cars and a small lawned area below the decked terrace. The Wave is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Property Details

The Wave is a unique architect-designed lodge with breathtaking sea views located in Eype. Only constructed in 2018 this contemporary lodge has bifold doors making the most of the amazing views and blending inside with outside. This makes the interior very light and you can really appreciate the sea air. Just a few minutes walk to the beach it is also close to the South West Coast Path so perfect for ramblers or anyone that likes a walk with stunning coastal and countryside views. Eype enjoys a long pebble beach (Eypemouth Beach) that is dog friendly all year round. The South West Coast Path passes just above the beach and affords wonderful views over the coast and East Ebb Cove. There are plenty of places to eat out with The Smugglers Bar, Martin's Bar and Grill, The New Inn and a little further out Downhouse Farm Cafe. But you are so close to West Bay a very pleasant walk will take you to over 10 more choices of eatery. Plenty of things to do nearby including taking a canoe tour down the River Brit, going on a white knuckle rib ride along the coast, taking a tour of nearby Palmers Brewery, going on a Jurassic Ebike adventure or looking for fossils on one of the many guided walks.

The accommodation at The Wave comprises an open plan living area with bifold doors leading out to the decked area, TV, WiFI, large corner sofa and dining table with seating for six. The kitchen comes equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine as well as a range of accessories and utensils. There are two ground floor bedrooms arranged as a double and a twin with a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet. Up to the first floor where you will find a king-size double bedroom. A cot and highchair can be provided upon request.

Outside is a decked area complete with table and chairs and those amazing sea views. There is off-road parking available. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Area Details

Bridport

Bridport is a small, busy market town on Dorset's Jurassic Coast. The town has quite a few independent shops, a supermarket, cafes and restaurants. There are also local markets here each week. Bridport has an arts centre, cinema, and museum. The museum includes an exhibition of the town's long history of rope-making amongst other exhibits. The town hosts the local food festival for a week at the end of June and ends with the Round Table Beer Festival. The town holds its annual carnival on the third Saturday in August. Visit Palmers Thatched Brewery to sample local beers and ale. Explore Mangerton Mill which is still a working water mill, visit the tea rooms attached and finish off with a country walk by the river.
