The peaceful, rural village of Middlemarsh is the ideal choice for those seeking relaxation as well as easy access to local attractions. Nearby Sherborne is rich in history and home to an Abbey, which dates to Saxon times, two castles and renowned schools. Its pretty centre has a great range of independent shops, ideal for an afternoon spent browsing. Dorset’s county town, Dorchester, is 11 miles to the south and has two cinemas, plus a long high street lined with numerous coffee bars, shops and eateries. This part of rural Dorset has many picturesque walks and cycle routes to enjoy, taking in landmarks such as the Cerne Abbas Giant, which is carved into the chalk hillside high above the village.

From the shared courtyard a private entrance door leads into this end of terrace, L-shaped, single-storey property. Once inside you are met with a welcoming hallway leading to the striking lounge/kitchen/dining room on your right which has high ceilings, exposed beams and is light and airy. This cleverly designed open-plan space has a lounge area with a wood burner for those cosy nights in relaxing and watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Doors from the lounge/kitchen/diner open onto a fantastic covered veranda with furniture and a lovely outlook over the adjacent paddock and open countryside beyond. To the front of the property is a shared courtyard with parking for two cars. A stream runs under the veranda and there is a large un-enclosed pond, please take care with children.

Buckland Newton is a pretty village in Dorset on the edge of Dorset's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village has a playing field and playground as well as a village shop, post office and pub. There are an abundance of country walks to discover here that will take you off the beaten track and allow you to enjoy the countryside and views.

For those who love action, then visit the Henley Hillbillies. Here you can drive quad bikes, Polaris Ace buggies, Mini Mavriks and even hover crafts. Or try your hand at shooting with the option for clay pigeon, archery, crossbows and air rifles. Nearby towns include Sherborne and Dorchester with a wealth of attractions. Visit Cerne Abbas and enjoy a relaxing lunch in the beer gardens of a choice of three pubs, all are dog friendly.
