The cottage can sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms, one king-size double and one twin as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the apartment is made up of an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room. To the outside of the apartment, there is allocated off-road parking is a shared rear communal parking area. Tradewinds is a beautiful and comfortable holiday getaway for couples or families looking for a quieter location close to the town centre and beach.

Tradewinds is a first-floor apartment in a Grade II listed building located right on the harbourside in Weymouth. With magnificent harbour views from the property and spacious holiday accommodation within a short walk of the sandy beach and restaurants, it is very popular. Weymouth has a wonderful curving arc of golden, sandy beach that has been awarded a Blue Flag award consistently over the years. Adjacent to the town it allows easy access to the shops, restaurants and cafes. But there is so much to see and do in the town. Relax in Greenhill Gardens, Nothe Gardens or at Radipole Lake and Gardens. Go on a Jurassic Safari to discover parts of Dorset you wouldn't find yourself, or explore the harbour area and go on a fishing trip. Discover the restaurants and cafes around Brewers Quay and Hope Square. Explore the history of the 19th century Nothe Fort or find out about our marine life at the Sea Life Centre. Be amazed at the creations at Sandworld Sculpture Park or have fun at Lodmoor Country Park.

The accommodation at Tradewinds comprises of an open plan living area with wonderful harbour views from a bay window with chairs positioned to take full advantage of those views. It is equipped with a TV, DVD and CD player, WiFi-enabled throughout and a dining table with chairs for four again positioned close to the bay window so you can dine with a view. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine as well as a range of accessories and utensils. There are two bedrooms arranged as a king-size double and a twin with a bathroom with a bath with shower over, basin and toilet. A cot can be provided if required for your visit.

There is off-road allocated parking for one car only in a shared, elevated, rear communal off-road parking area. Your fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price.

Weymouth is a busy seaside town and lies on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. Weymouth's golden sandy beach has received the Quality Coast Award. This is because of good quality water, well-developed facilities and beach supervision. There are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of shops. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants, offering a range of cuisines. As a result, you are spoilt for choice. Weymouth is famous for its fresh seafood. You can often see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch from the Harbour. It is from the harbour that you can pick up boat tours. These include a tour of the Jurassic coast and a water taxi from Weymouth to Portland.

Weymouth Attractions and Activities

Lodmoor Country Park is fantastic for the children and adults to explore and rest for a picnic. In addition, try your hand at crazy golf or let the children drive in the little go-kart track. Let the children loose in the Pirate Ship Play Park or the Green Gym. Slide down the wonky slide or walk the dog through the woodland paths. RSPB Nature Reserve is next to Lodmoore Park displaying details of all the Marsh birds in the area. Also, there is a cafe for refreshments after all the exploring. Sandworld is by the cycle path at Lodmoor park. Be amazed at the awesome sculptures made by local artists. You can let the children take turns to make their own sand sculpture. In addition, view smaller displays along the seafront. In conclusion, the attention to detail that goes into these will amaze you.

The Sea Life Centre is full of marine animals and much much more. The Centre is jam-packed full of fun rides and activities for the children. There are also rides galore along the seafront with arcades that stay open in the evenings. A little train will take you along the length of the seafront. Here you will find Donkey rides on the beach are available. Punch and Judy play on the seafront during the summer. A short walk away is the Nothe Fort which holds events for both adults and children. Weymouth is well known for the Red Arrows display which happens on Carnival Day. You can watch the action from the beach and see the fireworks from the bay. At night, colourful lasers light up the seafront and the promenade. The Pavillion theatre holds regular live shows.
