Set moments from the heart of the historic town of Christchurch, this spacious detached property has easy access to a great selection of bars, boutique shops and amenities. The coast is also close at hand, so why not hire a boat at Christchurch quay, or simply relax and enjoy the splash park and play area at the Quomps. Those feeling more energetic can take a trip north to the New Forest National Park and explore the wide network of walking and cycling routes on offer, taking in the spectacular landscape that this area is renowned for. For a spot of retail therapy head four and a half miles west into Bournemouth and perhaps take in a show at the popular BIC or Pavilion theatre.

On entering the property, you are met with a welcoming hallway containing a useful separate WC. Immediately to the right is a snug with TV. Leading on from here is a light and bright open plan lounge/kitchen/diner opening on to the garden. This sociable space has a lounge area with TV and flame effect gas fire and the kitchen area sits to the left, which is equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. A utility room is next door and contains an American style fridge and freezer complete with an ice cube maker, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading back into the hallway you will find the staircase rising to the first floor. Once upstairs chose from one of the four bedrooms; a luxury super king-size bedroom with en suite bathroom, separate walk-in shower, his and hers basin and WC. A second king-size bedroom can be made into twin single beds on request. Or finally, a cosy single bedroom. Completing the first floor is a modern family bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Heading outside from the kitchen/diner you will find an enclosed garden, with furniture and a decked area ideal for al fresco dining. The garden is south facing and perfect for that family BBQ. Off-road parking for three cars can be found at the front of the house.

Area Details


Christchurch lies between the beautiful New Forest National Park and Bournemouth. Visit the area for the beaches which extend for four miles and are beautiful golden sand. The nearby villages of Highcliffe and Mudeford offer fantastic opportunities for crab fishing. Highcliffe Beach and Friars Cliffe are safe for swimming. The town has an array of shops in the pedestrianized Saxon square as well as a weekly market. Christchurch has a variety of cafes and pubs around the Quay, relax and soak up the tranquil atmosphere. Christchurch plays host to the Food and Wine Festival in May and has over 100 stalls. Join the atmosphere of the Music Festival on the first weekend of July. Catch the Annual Regatta held on the second week of August which ends with a superb fireworks display.

Activities and Attraction

Take a boat to the vast Nature reserve of Brownsea Island owned by the National Trust. Try Watermans Adventure Park catering for different age groups. Or, for family fun then Christchurch Quay and Splash Park cater for all ages. Adventure Wonderland is a great park catering to younger children. We have visited several times and it always goes down well and we stay until closing! Christchurch and Highcliffe Castle are a must for history lovers with Highcliffe Castle having a cafe to relax in after your tour.
