The Village has a surfing shop for all those watersports enthusiasts. Take the bus into Weymouth or Portland from Wyke. The village lies along the Rodwell Trail. The track follows the old Weymouth to Portland Railway line for 2 miles between Weymouth to Wyke Regis. It makes for a great walk with great views and is a good way to get to Weymouth. The walk appeared on the BBCs ‘Railway Walks’ with Julia Bradbury. There are a few beaches you could explore too. Sandsfoot Castle is well worth a visit. See the ruins, enjoy the spectacular views over a drink from the cafe and wander down to the small sandy cove.
